Mavisehir Holidays

Mavisehir means blue city, Mavisehir is located only 4 km outside of Didim town center.

It is a smaller and quieter coastal area of Didim, with local restaurants along the seafront. During the summer months they have a large evening market selling fruit, vegetables, clothes, etc.

Aşk gemisi, which means Love boat, is located in Mavisehir. Aşk gemisi is a kind of walkway and seating area underneath the trees, and one of the best places to watch the sunset.

Since Mavişehir is a quiet area, it has been a region where sites have been located for a long time, and it has become even more popular after the establishment of the Büyük Anadolu Hotel, which was established in the region in recent years.

Orman Kampı is a camping area in Didim. It is an area of natural beauty and is located on the beachfront between the sea and pine trees. You can make a day or stay at the beach, swim in the sea, have a BBQ, camp, It is a secure gated area for which there is a very small entrance fee. It is a great day out.

There are a few medium sized markets, market shops etc. It is about 15 minutes on a Dolmus (bus) from Altinkum.

There are no banks in Mavişehir, but there are ATM machines, to go to the bank you would need to go into Didim.

Mavişehir has become more popular as new sites and villas are being built, but it is still a quieter location than Didim or Altinkum.
